WHO WE ARE: Linnton, founded in 1843, remains bound to its origins as a live/work community. The neighborhood endeavors to balance its high expectations for livability and proper stewardship of the land with its continuing integration with, and support of, industry. As Portland's gateway to our coast and to our neighbors across the oceans, Linnton's vision is to reawaken, enhance, and protect our wonderful natural environment; and to expand on Portland's expertise of the built environment in order to express the larger community's commitment to a viable future. The Linnton Neighborhood Association (LNA) is an important voice of our community to unify residents, businesses and the interests that impact our quality of life.
GOALS: Willamette River - We pledge to restore and preserve Linnton's common areas to improve the quality of life of all inhabitants by using environmentally friendly and sustainable activities to mitigate the impact of built environments.
